What can I say about our little Bunny? She was a singleton puppy from Charmin's last litter and was just too small to stay here at Ni Kokoro. I was afraid that she would be left in the playpen because I was so afraid she would get hurt because of her size. Bunny went to her new home to people who had a tiny 2-pound Chin for 13 years, I could only hope the same for our Bunny. Unfortunately, Bunny had a total melt down and hypoglycemic attack one after another and we rushed to get her back home. Through tube feedings, forcefeedings, vet checks and constant 24-hour care, we got her back to health, but still, Bunny was only 1.5 pounds. Now at 6 months, she is here and won't be going anywhere. She is quite attached to me and holds her own with the other house dogs including Luke, our Bullmastiff. Bunny shows no fear to anything or any body and loves to see people, but it is clear that she wants to stay home with her Mom!
After losing my cherished Contessa, I had not found another "heart" dog and actually did not want one, but the little Froo wiggled her way there. She knew more than I did that she was here for a reason. She now goes everywhere with me and loves to fall asleep on my shoulder while I am on the computer or phone. Now, who is smarter?? :)
