"Antonio" aka "Tony-O!!"
Antonio's Pedigree
Antonio came to us as a 8 week old inquisitive puppy and has not stopped since. His wonderful, happy temperament led him to climbing, jumping and finishing his AKC Championship by 10 months. After finding Antonio walking along our 6-foot privacy fence looking at the kids on the other side, I knew that life would be WAY too boring as a show dog, so he went to spend a weekend with our friend Marisa to see if he would like agility and Marisa never brought him back!! He lives with Marisa and comes to visit the ladies here at Ni Kokoro once in a while and we are grateful to Marisa for taking such good care of Antonio and his kids.
Since that time, Tony-O!!, as he was called on the agility field has excelled in the sport with Marisa's expertise and guidance. Marisa and Tony-O!! have achieved titles in agility, obedience and also have completed his Canine Good Citizen title. We can proudly say that Antonio has the most performance titles of any Champion male Japanese Chin and he is the only sire to produce a MACH 2 daughter!
Antonio is clear on hips, thyroid, patella, heart.
You can see more of Antonio and his daughters on his " Dizzy Chin " page.
CH Tokubetsu Reckless
"Reckless"
Reckless came from the Australian show breeders, Katherine Sunn and Phillip Poulton of "Tokubetsu".
Reckless has brought short backs, coat and neck to our dogs and we have been able to keep beautiful faces with adding him to our breeding program. Reckless was awarded RWD at the 2006 National Specialty to our own Imeji which was awesome for us!
After finishing his AKC Championship, Reckless loves just being at home playing with his friends and puppies. He is a wonderful addition and we are proud to have been able to bring him to the US.
Reckless is health checked and clear for eyes, hips, cardiac, patellas and thyroid.
Reckless' Pedigree
AM/CAN CH Ni Kokoro Imeji Sugata
"Imeji"
Imeji's Pedigree
Imeji is what I consider as "my everything". He has elegance, type, structure and that spark that makes a show dog. Imeji is the product of bringing old Japanese lines, through Nuuyra to the American pedigrees of Fabio. I loved this litter of four (3 girls, 1 boy) so much I repeated it three times! But there is only ONE Imeji being the one of two boys that Nuuyra and Fabio have produced.
Imeji finished his AKC Championship by going Winners Dog, Best Bred By Exhibitor and Best of Winners at the 2006 Japanese Chin Club of America National Specialty and then repeating the same thing at the 2006 Fall Japanese Chin Club of America Regional Specialty.
We then went on to Canada to try our luck up there at the first Canadian Japanese Spaniel National Specialty where we were able to finish his Canadian Championship undefeated; and in one weekend!!
Imeji is owned by Tommy and I and Douglas Johnson owner of the renown Clussexx Spaniel Kennel and Sue Ann Pietros, famous breeder of Monab Salukis.
Imeji is growing up and will be shown by Doug and I am sure will continue his winning ways! We are excited about this endeavor and thank Doug and Sue Ann for their many years of expertise and advice.
CH Ni Kokoro Prince of Hearts
"Prince"
Prince is the only puppy we have from our Contessa.
Prince finished his AKC Championship in grand style with two five point majors his first time out. That weekend he also won RWD, so he was SO close to finishing in only three shows.
Prince has produced extremely beautiful puppies and is on his way to a ROM certificate. His Sire is our first Bred By Champion, Rio.
CH Jensu's Symphony at Ni Kokoro
"Schroeder"
Schroeder is our newest Champion. He is an Antonio son and a Fabio Grandson.
Schroeder has been used on a couple of our girls including Nuuyra. Schroeder is the Sire of Omeshi, Uchi and Tomesode and little Kanoko.
Schroeder is clear with eyes, heart, elbows and patellas.
Schroeder is bred by Jensu Japanese Chin, Robert and Susan Spencer and owned by Carla Jo Ryan and Susan Spencer.
Omeshi is a Schroeder x Nuuyra son
